Michelle Harris, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Throughout my nursing career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of areas within mental health including inpatient, community health, homecare, outpatient medication management, and telehealth. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and bringing in my unique experiences to create an individualized course of treatment. I received my BSN from the University of Connecticut and my MSN with a focus in Psychiatric-Mental Health from the University of Saint Joseph.

I have worked with a variety of populations including those with persistent mental illness, neurodivergence, dementia, and chronic medical illnesses. I have significant experience in providing care to individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. My experience includes medication management across the lifespan for mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders.

Michelle Harris, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC is certified by the ANCC as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in nursing since 2014 in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and homecare. She works with clients of all ages and has recent experience working in an outpatient clinic working with a variety of patients as well as with geriatric clients and caregivers for clients with dementia. She works closely with clients and their families to devise an effective and individualized course of treatment to meet their needs.
